September colors
rusting along the highway
meridian changes

Menotomy lands
orange leaves upon a single tree
first sign of autumn

shrill drone of insects
green lawn dappled by sunlight
and wind in the leaves

after the day’s heat
cool breezes under dark skies
delicious relief

supine under trees
latticework of green, blue sky
doing the yin work

jquery‘s magic
opens possibilities
loving api‘s

rearrange the mind
settle into the moment
stone dropped in a well

day curls like a cat
pawing and meowing for food
anchors, obliges

summer thunderstorm
ruffled waters of the pond
daughter of oya

hungry kitty meows
burrow through layers of sleep
can’t snooze this alarm

lazy late morning
content to trade the sunrise
for sleep’s luxury
